3rd and 4th Grade Science Teacher
Ariel Danza is happy to join the lovely staff and students at City Academy as the 3rd & 4th Grade Science Teacher. She loves to inspire others and be inspired by the amazing world around us! She also believes everyone should be lifelong learners, including teachers! Ariel began her journey in education as an Upper Elementary Montessori Guide after working as a Legal Assistant for several years. She has a BA in Psychology from the University of Missouri-St. Louis, Post-Baccalaureate Certificates in Elementary Education, Art K-12, Middle School Science, and a MACTE Accredited Elementary Montessori Certificate (Ages 6-12).
Teaching Science is one of her passions, but there are so many more. She also loves to do Lampworking, which is a type of glassmaking, trying to roller skate, tending to her many plants, and snuggling with her 12-year-old little dog, Tia. She and her husband have four kids between 15-24 years old, and will be very excited when the house finally becomes quiet, with a stocked fridge, and stays clean.
