Kindergarten Language Arts Teacher

Michele Lemee joined City Academy in 2021 as the Kindergarten Language Arts Teacher with 20 years of experience in Early Childhood Education. Prior to City Academy, she was a master teacher at a Head Start preschool. She has a passion and love for children and all the exploring, learning and fun they get to have.
Michele has a BA in Early Childhood Educational Studies from Lindenwood University, and loves to see and be a part of a young scholar’s development. She grew up in St. Louis, MO, and has an 8-year-old daughter and a fish named Scooter. In 2009, she started her own face painting business because she enjoys the arts and bringing joy to children.
